There may have been holidays, and snow storms, but that does not mean that the farm work goes away!
The day after a huge snow storm, we had on the schedule for two cows to be picked up to meet their fate.
Snow or not, we did not want to lose our spot at the butcher!
So the rodeo began.
The first cow, Otis, loaded super easy.
And then there was this guy. Ollie.
Our plow guy showed up during the rodeo, so the cow guy moved out of the way and regrouped.
It took these guys over an hour to get Ollie loaded!
I am happy to say though, that it was worth it, as soon our freezer will be bare no more.
Today, we had a delivery!
Two new babies.
I love the farm when we have babies!
They are so cute!
Welcome to the farm, Mack and Pete!
Now we have the job of keeping all of the animals warm and their waters flowing….because it is getting seriously dangerously cold outside!
