Kayla invited us down to David and her place for a little Valentine celebration!
It was focused toward Lane and the littles, but we all enjoyed it very much!
I have photos of our celebration to share, but first things first!!!
After we all absorbed that cuteness overload, there were cookies to bake!
We use a Christmas spice cookie recipe when we want to roll out cookies to cut out.
They are delicious any time of the year!
Umm…there were lots of little fingers helping!
Next up were some crafts.
And more cuteness.
And more crafts!
There were coloring pages while I read the book Because I Love You.
Finally it was time to spread some icing on those cookies and enjoy them!
The kids finished up our fun afternoon by playing with a huge bucket of Jenga blocks until it was time to head home!
I love, love these times we spend at David and Kayla’s!!
Blake and I are very aware of the large age gaps in our children, and we are prayerful and purposeful about fostering relationships between them! David and Kayla are purposeful about this too, and we are so thankful for the investment they make in these kiddos lives!!
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!!
What a great big sister! *smile* Love this! And I spy a “Known by Heart” t-shirt… all my girls are getting them for Valentine’s Day… but, shhh! don’t tell!
Ooohh! Great gift idea! ;0) I won’t tell!!
Thank you for sharing the cuteness overload with us! For those of us without children, photos are especially precious, and dear to our hearts.
I love all the pictures here but SERIOUSLY that little baby is simply adorable.
Why, yes, he is!
Clyde cuteness overload!!!!
