It’s been twenty-two years since this handsome guy became our son!
We are always looking for a reason to have some amazing Asian food, and celebrating Grant’s Day is a great reason!
He requested Chap Chae, Asian slaw and any dessert his sis Addie decided on herself!
Which ended up being a lemon poppy seed cake with vanilla frosting!
It was yummy!!
We then spent all day Sunday afternoon and evening just being together!
I did not take many photos that day….but these two are my favorite!
This guy’s personality is as cute as his blue eyes and blonde hair!!
I love you, River Salem!!
There was a fierce game of Catan going on back in the school room!
What a blessed day Sunday was!!
It had been awhile since we had seen our favorites because of illness.
They live so close yet were so far away!
Grant told me at the end of the day that he LOVED his Grant’s Day celebration – good food and just being together.
My heart swells and I get crying in my eyes when I think of that day standing in the Chicago International Airport watching those customs door open and close waiting for a glimpse of our case worker holding our baby boy.
I CAN’T BELIEVE WE WERE GIVEN THIS HONOR TO BE GRANT’S FOREVER.
We are SO proud of you, G!!!
Keep your eyes on Jesus!!
He knows the plans He has for you!!!
WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, Grant Evan!!!!
