It was time to celebrate again!

Two of our most precious gifts ever.

Lane was born six days before Kayla’s 15th birthday, and so their birthdays are very close together!

We made this birthday celebration a double party!!

Of course, Kayla loved the Lego theme decorations, ha!

We had fish tacos with ALL the fixings and fruit salad for dinner.

Lane chose and Kayla highly approved!

Especially when there was garden fresh salsa and homemade guacamole involved!

Neither of which Lane prefers but Kay loves!

There were gifts, of course!

Lane’s excitement was so sweet!!

We made Kayla sit in the hot seat too!

It was her birthday party too, after all!

There were two cakes, of course, of course!

And of their own choosing, of course!

Lane asked our resident baker for all things chocolate.

Good boy, Lane Stevan.

Addie made this beauty – beautiful cakes are her thing!

Kay asked for mint chocolate chip ice cream pie!

Yes, I trained her too!

It was SO good to be all together again as travels and illness had us apart a bit more than usual!

WHAT A JOY to celebrate such precious, precious ones that the Lord allowed us to call our daughter and son.

Well then, a sob just caught in my throat, so I will just say –
