Life is full of our normal rhythms and normal day to day things!
I relish in it ALL.
I got in the habit many, many years ago of looking at “normal every day things” and seeing the blessings in them.
It is SO GOOD for your heart, your mind, your soul, and your spirit to count your blessings each day!
Look at this blessing – Eliza enjoying making hand prints for a craft.
Our girl has come so far!
The blessing of a Daddy who likes to hear about our school days!
The blessing of a good eye doctor appointment for Tate – that ended with a “call me if you need me” from the doctor!
The blessing of beautiful fall colors all around the hospital.
The blessing of new treats found at the store that actually were pretty yummy!
The blessing of quick lunches that are also yummy!
The blessing of a full house so you always have someone willing to help you with your memory verses!
One of my all time favorite daily blessings!!
The blessing of the seasons and the first beautiful snow fall of the winter.
The blessing of Sunday evenings together, whether we are here at Twin Oaks, at Briar’s place or at Grant’s place!
The blessing of a hobby that is spent together – even the littles join the hunting crew this year!
The blessing of a dynamics change when the Mama of this crew gets some time with just a few of her kiddos!
The blessing of a fluffy very soft puppy!
They are the BEST.
The blessing of hand therapy and Chad’s healing hand!!!
The blessing of hard workers who help keep Twin Oaks in shape.
The blessing of grand babies and singing to them on their birthday!!
THIS IS THE VERY BEST OF THE VERY BEST!
The blessing of a drivers ed instructor who picks up and drops off your student!
The blessing of your guys promising not to shoot the Mama or her twins who live on your land.
Smile!
The blessing of being home full time with these precious ones – even the ones who need hourly reminders to drink their water!
The blessing of essential oils!
Especially that there one in the front.
The blessing of BEING DONE WITH BRACES!!!!
Praise God!
The blessing that even though there is a crazy lady in charge of our calendar, the children roll with it, and school travels!
The blessing of some cultural based habits that dont go away!
The blessing of the JOY that this girl POURS into this home everyday!
That was a big pile of blessings!!
We are dealing with a health trial this week, but I have already counted and could list ALL the good things I see in this too!
Thankful for so much!
Being thankful is a choice!
Don’t know about you all, but choosing to be thankful is something I plan to continue doing!
Life is marching on.
Thank you, Lord, for allowing so much!!
Stephanie, These are such treasured days. Doing Kingdom work in what most people say is mundane. Such a blessing you are to mother’s as you live this out before them.
So glad Chad’s hand is healing, and I love Tate’s bowl habit. Teagan does the same thing. 🙂
This week hasn’t gone as planned with a stomach virus that got mom down bad. But never will take back these beautiful days living life.
Sweet friend, thank you for your encouragement!! I will pray for you and yours – for that stomach virus to go away! I love Tate’s bowl habit too! Hanging on tight. Time is SO precious!!
