Early yesterday morning I loaded my crew up and we headed to town to meet the breeder to pick up our new puppy!
We had our Addie Mae back! She had a blast at the retreat, and had gotten home at midnight Tuesday night!
We met at a Wal-Mart, just off the main highway, about 40 minutes from the farm.
We are so thankful that the breeder could meet us this way, instead of making the trip all the way to his place!
Blake, Kayla and Clyde met us too! Kayla took some photos for us!
This puppy is Chad’s, although we will all enjoy her very much.
He has hopes to breed her someday!
He was SO excited!!!
While Chad talked to the breeder and got answers to all of his questions, the rest of us loved on Sadie!
I was SO proud of Eliza! Her outfit was causing her such stress, and the noise of the highway was just TOO much. She finally asked to sit in the van, and although she was fussy, she used her words to tell me that she could not handle this situation! Good job, sweet baby!! You have come so far!
Clyde just took it all in, being his happy as always self!
The breeder let us see and love on Sadie’s Mom! She was so gentle and sweet!
Just like that, it was time to say thank you and head back home.
Chad made the final decision about Sadie’s name on the way home.
We think it suits her perfectly! Good job, Chad!
What a fun day yesterday!!
What a fun season of life we are in!!!
Welcome to our crazy, Sadie girl!!
I think you will fit in just fine!
Congratulations on your new addition! She is a pretty pup! Good job, Eliza! So happy to see good steps being made.
Thank you, Connie! Good steps are being made, yes! So thankful.
Such precious captures! And I love those ones of Addie + Clyde.:) LOVED being able to spend time with Addie at the retreat – she is an absolute joy to be around!!
She enjoyed spending time with you too! ❤
Love these!! And loved spending time with Addie at the retreat as well! Nice being able to have face to face conversations rather than letters+texting:) <3
Addie loved spending time with you too, Rachael!
