Our Eliza Claire had a birthday and is four years old!
Eliza may still not understand what a “birthday” really is, but she certainly understood that she was being celebrated!
All of the kids spent the afternoon at David and Kayla’s, and got to play at the park by their house.
Then in the evening, we had our traditional birthday celebration!
Dinner, presents, and dessert!
The only things Eliza told me she wanted for dinner was asparagus.
I know! Crazy girl!
So, I planned the menu around asparagus, and the fact that it was supposed to be 64 degrees (which it was) and a good evening to fire up the grill!
She LOVED opening her gifts!
She would open one, throw it aside and say “Can I go first again?!”
Sweet girl is getting used to having to take turns around here!
Addie Mae made her cake, of course!
Eliza asked for chocolate and strawberries.
And she got this beauty!
We had a great time of fellowship!
And we enjoyed one guest maybe just a little bit more than the others!
Can you blame us??
What a great celebration of our sweet baby Eliza Claire!!
I cannot believe she is four years old!
We now have two four year olds!!
And Lane is counting down the days until his birthday!!
Because he is up next!!
Happy Birthday, Eliza Claire!
We love you SO much, sweet baby!!
Happiest birthday to your sweet girl!
Thank you, Jennie!!
That asparagus looks amazing! Just seasoned with bacon wrapped around it – or did you do something else. And ADDIE MAE – you AMAZE me! Now…give me some of that cake!
Asparagus is wrapped in bacon. Lay on foil lined tray. Sprinkle with olive oil, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Roast at 375 till bacon is done. I think 20 to 30 minutes. It is SO yummy!!! Make lots!!!
Happy Birthday, sweet Eliza! So precious! Little Clyde is sooooo cute!
Thank you, Connie!!
