When Eliza and I arrived in La Crosse Tuesday evening, we had quite the surprise in store for us. As I picked up the stroller outside the airplane an airport worker said to me, “There is quite the welcome for you out there!” And, YES, there was…..
There were over 60 people in that little airport waiting to welcome us home. I am humbled beyond belief. The support we have had is amazing. May God bless each of you for being obedient to prayer, for the endless comments and e-mails, and especially to those of you in our area who made the effort to be at the airport Tuesday night. We love you all so much! ELIZA IS HOME!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! ELIZA IS HOME.
“Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth: Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43: 5-7
**A BIG thanks to sweet Megan for these beautiful photos!!
Thanks for sharing the end of the story, the photos, and the whole adventure. It has been a joy and a pleasure to pray with you.
Thank you so much for your prayers! We literally felt the covering they provided.
My eyes were filled with so many happy tears that I had to wait a while to read what your wrote after your photos. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing all of this with us.
Did it bring back memories of Grant’s day? It did for me! I walked right by where we waited for Grant in the O’Hare airport. Came through the same doors from customs that he did that day! Miss you, friend. Hope full-time Mommying is going great!!!!
