It has been over five months since Chad’s accident where he almost lost four of his fingers on his left hand.
I cannot believe it has been that long, but at the same time it feels like it has been longer!
This past week we finished up all of Chad’s appointments for his hand!
Praise, praise!!
First up was our last hand therapy visit with Chad’s wonderful therapist, Missy.
We took a gift because we love her so much and we are going to miss her!!
Chad’s appointment went well and all of the measurements that were taken still showed progress.
We both gave Missy a big hug and as we walked out of the hospital I got a bit emotional!
We decided to head to the local Co-op and get a treat to celebrate – a ginger ale and a kombucha!
Next, on Monday, we headed to Madison for our last appointment with Chad’s hand surgeon.
We took some helpers!
The surgeon thought Chad’s progress was FABULOUS, and told us that he will continue to make progress for many more months!
We too believe Chad will make more progress and are very hopeful for that to happen!
It was lunch time when we finished up at the hospital so we headed to Chipotle to have some lunch and celebrate again!
From that phone call from Chad on June 28th saying he had been hurt, all the way until now.
It makes me teary eyed to think back on it all!
Not because it was hard, even though it was, but because we have seen the Lord use this in our lives and hearts in SO many ways.
I also know that the Lord has used it in many more ways that we will never even know about!
We are thankful.
SO THANKFUL!
Thankful beyond any words could ever say that Chad has his fingers.
Thankful for Chad’s maturity and character as he has dealt with this huge trial.
Thankful for all who have come along beside us, prayed for us, and cheered us on through these months of therapy.
Praise the Lord with us today!
Chad is healing and his appointments are all done!!
To God be the glory!!!
Praise God! So very thankful!
Yes, Praise Him!! WE ARE TOO!
So thankful for a good report…and that you made it home safely!
Yes and Yes! So glad Blake was driving – the ridge tops were SLIPPERY.
Praise the Lord for His marvelous work! So so THANKFUL for healing – isn’t the Lord the most marvelous physician?
Love + Miss y’all so much:)
Yes, praise, praise! Miss you all so much toooooo!
