After an unseasonably warm weekend that took all of our snow away, soon after we woke up this morning our winter blanket was back!
What a beautiful, beautiful day from our cozy little snow globe….full of all kinds of cozy blessings!
Like a huge pot of stock simmering on the stove top (it smells soooo good!) –
A big skillet full of chicken fajita fixings, because Mexican food is good ANY time of the year –
And some flourless chocolate muffins for a treat!
Enjoyed coloring and books with some littles –
And a big tote full of fun for Lane!
Haven’t got very far on the decorating I hoped to do –
Because there has been endless phone calls for insurance approval and Eliza’s appointments, and some paperwork for Tate’s adoption! Tate’s Supplement 3 is heading to USCIS tomorrow morning! YAHOO!!!
Got our little man a quilt for his bed, and a bath towel. I had shivers when I opened the box and saw Tate’s name on his towel! Go, paperwork, go!
There is also the obvious activity with this much new snow –
Our littlest sweet pea has turned a big corner after our challenging week last week. The Lord blessed our cocooning this weekend where we focused on turning that corner. Thank you, Lord!
We will be staying close to home for awhile now, in hopes that we will stay healthy for Eliza’s upcoming appointments and surgery.
Looking forward to spending more cozy days in our snow globe with these five (soon to be six!) rewards!
P.S. Grant got a deer on Saturday! Yeah for meat for our freezer!
Your blog is a bright spot in my email inbox! I so enjoy the photos and your comments! Thanks for sharing with me.
You are so sweet!
The Carhartt baby in a bowl.. so sweet. 😉 Looks like a cozy day! Love you!
Love you too!!!!!
Lane is looking so grown up! It’s so cool to see Tate’s name right there wereyou can actually hold it. Eliza’s hat is way too cute. The food looks yummy for the tummy. The snow globe makes me want to take a warm bath. Thank you for taking time to post. Love to all.
Love to you. We miss you terribly!
