Yesterday Chad and I headed back to UW Madison.
Chad got his cast off and was fitted for a custom splint to protect those injured fingers.
Most of the words we heard yesterday from those caring for Chad were a hard reality and it made for a hard day.
I’m actually glad Chad was sad and allowed himself to be – it was a much needed release – and by last night he was again speaking positive words that hold the grit he is going to need to get his hand moving again!
Therapy starts tomorrow and oh my how we covet you all praying with us!
Pray for mobility of those injured fingers!
For Chad’s heart as he just wants to be living life again.
For the logistics of running to and from therapy appointments, which thankfully are at the hospital in La Crosse which is only about 45 minutes away.
We are excited to be at this stage of Chad’s healing and are looking forward to meeting Chad’s therapist!
Thank you all for praying with us!!
Prayers, prayers, and more prayers coming your way, Chad! Remember the darkest hour is just before dawn.
Thanks Trace!!!!
Praying for you all. Praying for peace and strength. For the ability to move his hand without too much pain. Praying for God’s miracle of healing.
Thank you and bless you!!
