A great way to celebrate a holiday about love is to show your love for one another!
That’s just what Addie Mae did with her second annual sibling Valentine Day’s breakfast!
After everyone was in bed the night before, Addie got the kitchen and the food ready for the morning.
It was decorated SO cute!
Addie made scones and heart shaped bacon, and I added some leftover fruit salad and baked oatmeal!
The kiddos loved it!
There were gifts!
Everyone got a brand new deck of playing cards in their own case!
Addie made these card cases out of soup containers and ABC stickers.
Isn’t this the BEST idea?!
There were heart shaped glasses too!
What a fun start to the day!
Memories made and memories kept!!
Next up was an afternoon Valentine exchange with our favorites!
All of the children made Valentine’s for each other, and we started our party by making a holder to carry them all.
It was SO sweet to watch everyone decorate their holder.
Of course there were cookies to eat!
Made by Addie Mae!
With strawberry flavored frosting!
Blake and I got to have a Valentine celebration too!
Our church hosts a Valentine Banquet for couples every year.
Lasagna, salad, and bread are served for dinner, and cheesecake and coffee for dessert.
Addie ran the kitchen during the banquet that evening!
It was SO fun!
We laughed so much and got to spend time with wonderful people!
These traditions are worth keeping, don’t you agree?!
Here’s hoping that we do!
Hope you all had a Happy Valentine’s Day too!
