Blake and I had a little get-away trip this past weekend!

We have been going on an anniversary get-away weekend trip every year now for six years!

I always look forward to it SO much.

While we were away, the kiddos had a good time – and the littles did great!

We were not far away, just in case.

Addie Mae took some photos….and I want the photos to be in my scrapbook!

Craft time is always a hit!

It snowed where we were too, but here on this ridge, the volume and accumulation is always more!

There were donuts for breakfast one morning! Our donuts are baked, not fried, and actually very healthy!

Blake and I heard about these when talking to the kids on Skype! Eliza said “We had donuts, like a sandwich with a hole, and I not know how work it!”

They headed out one afternoon to hit the library. These kiddos devour books.

The scenery was SO beautiful after a wet, heavy snow!!

Our time away went quickly, for all of us.

I do not take it for granted that Blake and I can have a get-away and not have to worry about things at home!

These big kiddos can run this place better than I can!

It’s been a busy week around these parts, with many things needing my attention – but I hope to get caught up on this little scrapbook of mine soon!
